I study Quantum Magnetism, specifically in spin liquids and spin chains. I grow crystals and do experiments to better understand the origins of magnetic order. My favourite event is the Spring Ball.

I’m a second year particle physics PhD student working on the NA62 experiment at CERN! My research currently focuses on beam line simulations and characterising silicon pixel sensors.

I'm a PwPPC student, currently researching the electric field within monolithic silicon pixel detectors using the edge-TCT technique (I sit in the basement and play with lasers!). Naturally, my favourite (quasi)particle is the electron-hole.
